Supplemental Training

The CPDF board’s access to legal scholars, practicing attorneys, and law enforcement specialists enable it to offer advanced training on site to local police officers at no cost. These programs supplement the department’s training programs with advanced professional skills, and serve as an aid to recruitment, retention and leadership development.

The training program offers in-house seminars on criminal procedure and legal updates, funds attendance at professional in-service programs and distance learning programs, and sponsors programs by experts.
